In this role you will:

  1. work under the guidance of the Project Engineer in the design and documentation of project solutions and construction documents with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and constructibility;
  2. perform mechanical and/or plumbing engineering design calculations;
  3. research code issues and work with City, State and County officials;
  4. analyze reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work;
  5. interact and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members;
  6. maintain, organize and archive all project related documents; and
  7. perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

You will need to have:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred
  • Ability to obtain PE registration in the near future
  • up to 2 years experience; perfect position for new graduates
  • Proficiency with Revit software and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite essential
  • Familiarity with mechanical analysis software (i.e., race 3D, Carrier HAP, ot IES-VE preferred)
  • Knowledge of current sustainable technologies applicable to mechanical systems design

Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $37.65/hr (equates to $78,312)
