Overview:

Lead Marketing efforts on the West Coast - San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, or Santa Monica!

 

HGA is in search of a Senior Marketing Coordinator who will support a broad range of marketing and business development initiatives and champion marketing collateral and content creation to persuade target audiences and drive engagement with our brand for our Public (Government) and Corporate sectors.

This individual will own the end-to-end process of producing marketing collateral, coordinating field marketing, and developing HGA stories to inspire action. From brainstorming ideas and writing content to coordinating / producing proposals and award submittals, we’re looking for someone who can help us target and win more specific clients and projects.

In this role you will:

  1. lead the end-to-end process – project management, content development, and document production – for marketing collateral for client prepositioning and pursuits, specifically: RFQ/P Responses including qualifications packages, proposals, and interviews that integrate creative storytelling and visual delivery;
  2. collaborate with Government and Corporate practice group leaders, principals, and business developers to drive messaging strategy, define narrative approach, and write/proof copy for marketing content;
  3. develop high-quality marketing content and collateral to support other marketing initiatives including project awards submissions, conferences, social media, speaking engagements, and publication advertising;
  4. coordinate external (events, conferences, photoshoots) marketing activities and produce corresponding marketing collateral;
  5. work in a highly interactive and cross-functional position, collaborating and cultivating positive relationships with multiple team members across various teams and offices;
  6. partner with the Marketing and Communications team on the execution of strategic initiatives and champion marketing projects across teams as appropriate; and
  7. take initiative with a solution-focused mindset with an ability to work in ambiguity and pivot through the unexpected.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism (or other related field) or a relevant combination of experience, education, and training
  • 8+ years of professional experience writing marketing content, creating marketing collateral in Adobe InDesign, and managing multiple marketing projects from beginning to end
  • Experience managing and producing RFQ/P responses in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry preferred, ideally with a Public(Government) and/or Corporate focus
  • Exceptional aptitude in Adobe InDesign and proficiency with other Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Workfront, Canva, and/or VantagePoint is a plus
  • Proofreading, editing and standardizing proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension and style while adhering to brand standardizations. High attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently, self-starter and able to multitask workload to meet deadlines
  • Mentorship experience
  • Knowledge of Public (Government) sector and Corporate industries, client building types, common verbiage, etc.

Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $92,200 - $117,400 depending on qualifications and experience.
