    In our search for a business developer to support our Public|Corporate market in the Minneapolis arena, we are looking for people who are passionate, innovative and seeking to be at the top of their game.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies and represents HGA with new prospects and at industry associations and events and coordinates and tracks networking and meetings for HGA personnel.
    • Research business leads and evaluate business prospects.
    • Coordinates work efforts with HGA Government and Corporate Principals
    • Assists the Practice Group Leader in budgeting and monitoring the overall marketing budget for the Minneapolis region.
    • Schedules and perhaps conducts a targeted number of face-to-face meetings with prospects and clients each week.

    The Architectural Business Developer we’re looking for will have: -

    • Previous experience in sales or business development, with the ability to strengthen and further develop our existing client relationships
    • Experience within a design-related field preferred
    • A consultative and solutions-based approach to creating client relationships
    • An interest in working with a dynamic team in a designer space
    • Professional in-person presence as well as outstanding communication skills

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Architecture or Engineering or related field.   
    • Experience in prior sales or business development role desired but not necessary.
    • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
    • Skill with real estate software, and/or databases like Deltek Vision helpful.  If not proficient, has a strong acumen to learn new technologies and software.
    • This position requires frequent early morning, evening and some weekend event attendance outside of the 8-5 work hours
    • This position may require air and over-the-road travel.
