    HGA has an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Interior Designer to join our San Jose, CA office. In this positon, you can expect to work on a variety of project types and collaborate with other interior designers, architects and engineers throughout the firm. You will be tasked with collaborating on the development of the Interior Design efforts; performing all phases of the interior design process from programming and conceptual design development and documentation through to construction administration. We are seeking a candidate with a high capacity for creativity and innovative design thinking. 


    1. Works to create design solutions with enduring impact though original insight
    2. Works with Architectural and Interior Design team to develop the interior design solutions for projects ranging from healthcare, workplace, higher education, and other community and commercial buildings
    3. Researches materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development
    4. Collaborates and communicates effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members
    5. Works within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion


    • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree from an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
    • Experience with Workplace environments strongly desired
    • Professional licensure and/or certification preferred
    • Fluent knowledge of Revit; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other graphic tools is helpful 
    • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
