  • Overview

    We are seeking a senior workplace designer who is passionate about their craft and combines creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients.


    1. Develops a thorough understanding of projects’ design philosophy and provides major input in developing a design and building performance strategy and effectively conveys this to assigned team members when appropriate.
    2. Provides technical design input and support for the development of the entire design concept.
    3. Brings excellent design skills, attention to detail and an appreciation for creative and thoughtful design.
    4. Leads space planning, programming, interior architecture design development, finish and furniture selections, design detailing, and construction documentation.
    5. Manages multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    6. Maintains contact with clients, consultants and contractors during all project phases, participating in marketing, client and owner presentations as required.
    7. Sets an example for team effort through the spirit of cooperation while directing, organizing and mentoring junior staff.
    8. Makes authoritative decisions, negotiates critical issues, with a high degree of judgment in collaboration with Project Manager.
    9. Reviews shop drawings, material samples and CD’s for conformance with design.


    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, communicate clearly with team members and clients and have demonstrated the ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery
    • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree from an accredited Interior Architecture or Architecture program required
    • NCIDQ certification or Licensed Architect
    • LEED or WELL certification a plus
    • 15+ years of architecture/interiors experience in creative workplace design preferably in technology and media sectors
    • Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp and other industry accepted design software tools
    • Technical skills including 3D visualization and knowledge of modeling programs a plus
    • Prior management, supervision or coaching of departments, team leaders or team members
