    HGA is an award winning, interdisciplinary design firm with architects, engineers, planners, lighting designers, landscape architects, and interior designers working together to create holistic designs for healthcare, the arts, community, education, corporations, government and district/campus energy clients 


    This is an exciting opportunity for the Materials Librarian to partner with an innovative, collaborative group working on a variety of projects throughout the country.  The Materials Librarian will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the library.  The Materials Librarian coordinates with product manufacturers, subcontractors, vendors and sometimes clients, with periodic oversight from the Project Managers and/or Principals.


    This position can be full-time, or less than 40 hours per week.


    • Organizes and maintains library, including binders, catalogs and samples.
    • Maintains good product knowledge.
    • Assists other staff members with product research and obtaining samples.
    • Assists with finish/color boards.
    • Maintains schedule for product presentations- Lunch & Learns and Displays
    • Set up and clean up conference room each Wednesday for the Lunch and Learns.
    • Maintains Outlook database with vendor contact information.
    • Attends trade shows and reads trade publications to explore new products.
    • Promotes and maintain relationships with product vendors.
    • Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.


    Four or five-year accredited college degree in architecture or interior design, or equivalent work experience; graduate work preferred and evidence of ongoing continuing educational experiences.


    Minimum 2-3 years of progressive work experience in the architecture and/or interior design industry, including product rep experience
